Welcome to the Catskills: our Insider’s Guide

We believe this is a special area to visit anytime of year - whether it’s during the dog days of summer, where you can take a hike and then cool off in the endless rivers, streams and lakes; in the Fall, when the light changes but the temperatures still allow for evening bonfires and early morning strolls; during the Winter months when fireplaces compete with snowshoe walks for your daytime attention, and of course the Spring, when the land comes alive again, and fishing and foraging become our favorite pastimes. And of course, year-round we are lucky enough to be surrounded by quaint yet active towns that offer antiques, great food, parades, breweries, festivals and more regardless of when you choose to visit.
